Maren's pictures, 2 years old

Maren is a hard one to take pictures of. Before now, she would NEVER smile in pictures. We felt lucky that this time she did smile for some, even though they weren't huge smiles. Some are super cute, some are just dang funny. (lots of pics, 30 in all)

Just so you all can truly think we are NUTS!

This is what we want to do to the house still. Ideally, I would like the majority of it done before September. Any bets on that happening??? I printed this out and put it on the fridge. Do you think Adam will like it? All of this, in my opinion, is to bring this house up to present day standards, not 1981... :)

Piggy tails, hero big girls and dancing

Maren is finally getting some hair. She usually has pig tails on the top of her head but tonight I wanted to see if I could get it all into some cute pig tails on the sides. Look how cute she is!




She is also deathly afraid of Swiper the fox from Dora. Adam, Preston and Maija were all attacked by Swiper upstairs and Maren actually went up and saved them! So now she calls herself Hero Big Girl Maren.

The older kids like to teach her interesting dances. Here's a video of her doing her stuff. She's really into "fancy moves".

Spring break

The start of Spring Break was spent running outside as soon as we wake up to dig in the dirt with the new toys. Maren couldn't be bothered with putting clothes on but I did convince her to at least put some shoes on. They have all be out there digging for over an hour. Hopefully the rain stays away for a bit longer.
