She's a big kid now!

Ok, so I gave up my craft room for Maren. Is that love or what? I still need to hang up the curtain, put up her pictures that match the bedding and buy a wood shelf to hang on the wall. But, you can have a sneak peek of her room right now. Yes, its very empty, but what does a 14 month old need?

10 Random things about me? Moi?

1. I hate shoes. I love sandals. I will wear sandals in the winter.

2. I have a metal plate and 6 screws in my leg. I feel rather special about that.

3. I have a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education, emphasis in Home Ec, or as some boring people call it Family and Consumer Sciences.

4. I drive a gold minivan with a really cool tan, almost burberryish plaid on the inside on the seats. It rocks!

5. I bought a webcam! Now I can be all sorts of cool and talk to people in real life. Wanna webbycam it with me?

6. I gave up my beloved, yet sadly underused craft room for my baby. She can't sleep in my closet forever.

7. I sleep with my own blankets. I don't share well at night.

8. I sat next to Ted Nugent on a plane ride once. Ok, I lied. I made my sister, Elysah, sit next to him because he was kinda scary looking and big, and was wearing frighteningly short shorts!

9. We might be moving. I'll let ya all know in a few weeks what happens with that. ;)

10. I have a tattoo. Ha ha ha, NO, I won't show it to you. Only special people have seen it.

Maren got some new shoes. They squeak! They are the cutest thing. She loves the shoes but she still won't walk.

What are 5 things on my to-do list? Uh, what isn't on my list?? Currently: Balance the checkbook. Get a haircut. Clean the house. Clear out a bedroom so the baby can have her own room. Join Weight Watchers.

What would I do with a Billion dollars? Pay off debt. Set up lovely accounts for my children. Pay off extended family debt, cuz I am nice like that.

3 of my bad habits: Sarcasm with my children. Not cleaning. I bite my nails when I am stressed.

She's got some sweet skills

I didn't know she could do this. I was messing around on the computer and I heard some Maren babbling coming from far away. I thought she was was just playing by the stairs with the shoes like she always does. But, no. She was not there. Where was she you ask? Why, UPSTAIRS! She climbed them all and was going straight for Preston's room! Upstairs isn't very babyproofed at all. Little itty bitty toys and stuff all over the place. Real books. Big kid toys. Its baby heaven up there.

Go Adam, go!

We bought Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii a few weeks ago. Who would have thought Adam was so good at it? I secretly video'd him dancing. He was less than pleased when he found out. He's so cute though!



It will be a cold day in you know where before you catch a video of me dancing out on the internet somewhere!

Oh, and I have happy feet thanks to my Happy Birthday money! Go feet! Chacos rock.
